He has 3 books, Jazz Anecdotes (vol I & II) and Birdland to Broadway, that are in every jazz music library collection. Jim White is one of the most sought-after drummers & educators working today. A graduate of the esteemed North Texas State jazz program, White teaches jazz studies & drum set at University of Northern Colorado. He's recorded and toured with artists including Maynard Ferguson, Charlie Peacock, Joey Defrancesco, Chris Potter, Jack Pearson, Allison Kraus, Jerry Douglas and Willie Nelson.
